Insight as to what happens before your new design goes live

I design in WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Weebly, Shopify, GoDaddy and the recently launched Editor X (which is what my site is designed in). I've played around with Webflow and Strikingly and am like a kid on Christmas morning when I learn of a new CMS tool. I mean this is what I do all day, every day. YAY ME!

Trend changes in web design may not be as obvious as fashion trends but they do exist. Like fashion, you can pick and choose what works for you but here are a few things to consider if you want to give your site a quick refresh.

I recently worked with a client who had me convinced I was losing my mind as what I saw and what they saw was completely different. It took us awhile to figure out I was designing for desktop first and they were viewing the site on a tablet. Once I learned this it allowed me to shift to design for mobile first.
